This a phone conversation between you and a Spanish supplier about getting some replacement tiles. You know him already mostly from emailing him. But you have spoken to him one or two times before on the phone, but only when it comes to urgent issues.

Jose: Hola Buenos Dias. Jose Manuel Lopez Gonzalez.

Uwe: Hi Jose! It’s Uwe here calling from H&M in Germany.

Jose: Ah Uwe! Guten Tag!

Uwe: Guten Tag Jose. How are you?

Jose: Fine, thank you! We are very busy but otherwise, everything is fine.

Uwe: That’s good to hear. Jose, I will tell you why I am calling; you can probably guess, it’s about our last order from you.

Jose: Right! Just a moment Uwe. I’ll get it up on the screen here.  Just a second….. Right! I see it here in front of me.

Uwe: Brilliant! We still haven’t received that delivery and I just wanted to check with you if everything if ok with that order.

Jose: Oh yes! I can see the order delivery date and sorry that this has been delayed.

Uwe: Ok! How soon do you think it could be delivered?

Jose: It’s urgent, is it?

Uwe: Well, yes, basically , we would need the order by Friday week. Otherwise we will run into difficulty with the guys who are contracted to do the work.

Jose: Ok! I will see what I can do. We are still fairly short-staffed here. But leave it with me. I will talk to my colleagues here and I will see what I can do to speed it up. Can I give you a call later on today?

Uwe: Sounds good! Thanks Jose!

Jose: Ok UweLeave it with me. I will call you later. Bye bye.

Uwe: Thanks. Bye bye now.
