Have a listen back to our dialogue in the summaries section. It would be great then if you could do this listening exercise:
It is an interview with Richard Branson. He’s the founder of the Virgin brand in the UK. Basically, you have to listen to him and see if you can fill in the gaps. Then check and see how you get on. Same as last time, it would be great if you could make a list of words from the extract that are new for you and that you also find interesting and of course, useful.
Next week, we will talk about some of the issues he discusses with the interviewer. We will also merge those words with these words which we had in this week’s toxic employee discussion to create another new dialogue; “bad apple”, “expectations”, “disrespectful”, “bullying”, “address the issue”, “struggle”
